The “environment” has been around much longer than entrepreneurs.
With that being said, it probably is not in need of saving by humans and will be able to course correct over the duration of extremely large time spans.
If we are talking about a more immediate “saving” were we can see a direct impact within our brief lives on earth, then yes entrepreneurs can and do help save the world on a frequent basis.
There are many businesses that help save the environment in many ways all over the world.
Take for instance the shoe and apparel company Adidas.
Last year they sold over a million pairs of tennis shoes made from recycled ocean plastic!
If entrepreneurs mimic this type of business strategy, they can help save the environment and hopefully make a substantial profit while doing so.
