Well, there is really only one reason and that is that you will acquire so many skills. In my opinion, this is a great way to check off many of the boxes for an interview and a resume.

You do not need to work sales forever. The key is to stay long enough to get comfortable being uncomfortable, Sales will improve evolve you into a more capable person.

Who are you?

                In sales, you have to rely on your skills, knowledge, and adaptability. You rely on yourself, so you take credit for your success and your failure. Your tenacity means everything. What are you willing to sacrifice or invest for success? Everything has meaning!

2 Master problem-solving skills

                You can miss an opportunity with one small mistake; however, you can recover just as quickly. The many problems you face in sales helps develop your ability to overcome obstacles. Failure is good, especially when you grow from it.

3 Mind-blowing communication skills

                Knowing how to solve a problem is great, but also being able to articulate, teach and implement is even better. Communication is important in so many different aspects of life. How an individual communicates can impact your image/success whether you are selling cleaner or whether you are the president.

4 Epic Interpersonal skills

                To say one needs to pay attention in the sales field is quite an understatement. You need to pay attention to everything and use it to your advantage. This means understanding why people do what they do, understand body language, understanding who you are, and anticipating obstacles.

5 Confidence

If you do not like having the potential to make pretty good money or grow as an individual, please do not go into sales. However, if you need the opportunity to show yourself what you are capable of, you may want to give it a shot. Believe in yourself!
